Team Leader Guide

PA HazMat Team Leader – Person at a company that is responsible for paying the membership fees (accounts payable) or a member who will be responsible for setting up the Team (group) account for their company. The Team Leader will be responsible for inviting the employees to sign up to complete their membership.

You must know the number of memberships that you are paying for BEFORE registering as a Team Leader.

Note: The Team Leader cannot be a member of the group. You must use a separate email if you are member and a Team Leader. As Team Leader, you log into the website to manage and pay for employee membership for your organization, print invoices, etc. If someone leaves your organization, you can remove them from your Team so you are not paying for their membership the following year.

Team Leaders: Inviting Employees to Confirm Membership

Once a Team Leader has paid for the team memberships, they must invite their employees (team members) to confirm their membership. This can be done with a link that you include in an email. Since you have already paid for them, they do not have to pay anything further, but they need to complete their membership account so that they can receive member-only emails/notices, print their membership cards, and to view member-only content on the website.

Note: If you are paying by check, your membership will not be completed until the check is received. Once the check is received and recorded in the system you will have access to invite your team members to complete their memberships.
If you paid by credit card, you will have immediate access to the website to invite your team members.

  1. Log into your Team Leader account, by visiting pahazmat.com, then selecting Login/Register at the top right of the screen.
    Note: If you paid by credit card, you will already be logged into your account.
  2. Click Membership Account.
  3. Scroll to the My Memberships section and click Manage Group.

  1. You have 2 choices to invite your employees to complete their membership:
    • Copy the link and send it to your employees/team members in an email or text.

  • Enter the email address in the Invite New Members via Email, then select Invite New Members. Enter only one email address per line.

What happens next?

If you used the Invite New Members via Email option, the Invitees receive an email that includes the Team group code.

Team Members: Confirming Membership

What should the invited Team Member do?

If the invited Team Member is an existing user of the PAHazMat website, they should log into the website using their existing login credentials, then click the link in the email to join the Team (group).

If the invited Team member has not previously had membership and login credentials for the website, they will set up a new account, then proceed to checkout to confirm their membership.

Note: The Team group code is automatically applied so there is no fee for the invited Team member, but the member has to complete the registration and checkout to be added to the Team and activate their membership.
